Several years ago, one day for no apparent reason, I picked up Bergamot oil and fell in LOVE with it. I loved it so much that I dumped it onto my necklace diffuser and wore it all day. I wanted to spray myself with it if I didn’t think it would scare people off. I wore it every day for 3 months. After 3 months, I picked it up and it didn’t have the same hold on me as it did for the last 3 months.
I was perplexed and looked up the emotions of it and made some awesome connections. I discovered that the last few months, I have been struggling with honoring myself. I wanted to quit my great paying job to pursue a new career as a full-time dōTERRA Wellness Advocate and Energy Healer. I doubted myself and struggled to feel like I was good enough to be successful at it. Wearing Bergamot every day helped me resolve my doubts and developed more confidence and self-acceptance.
It occurred to me that the day before I had told my supervisor that I will no longer work there. She asked me what I had planned and when she learned of my plans she said, “Good on ya, Jade!” The Bergamot oil did its job and I do not need it anymore for the time being.
dōTERRA Bergamot is from Italy. It is cold pressed.
