Peppermint is the Oil of a Buoyant Heart.  According to the Emotions & Essential Oils, the negative emotions Peppermint oil helps to shift are the following: Unbearable pain, intense despair, heaviness, pessimistic, muddled.

The positive properties we can adopt are the following: Buoyant, optimistic, clear, relieved, renewed, strength to face emotional pain.

The heart is a strong organ.   It can be hurt and broken but it can be strengthened and mended with love.  We all need to go through negative emotions to grow.

Emotions of the heart are also emotions linked to the small intestines.  These emotions are Abandonment, Betrayal, Forlorn, Lost, Love Unreceived, Effort Unreceived, Heartache, Insecurity, Overjoy, and Vulnerability.

When we allow these negative emotions to weigh us down, we get use to that heaviness and accept it as the norm when in fact our true state is a happy state.  Fear and negativity does not have to control us.

Everyone goes through trials, there is no need to dwell on that old pain longer than necessary.  On the other hand, we can not suppress and ignore sad and painful events without dealing with it properly.  If we haven’t resolved a situation in our heart adequately, then it will come back to remind us to resolve it.  Remember your goal is growth and progression.

I like the analogy of a ‘river of pain’.  When we are faced with that ‘river of pain’ we can’t wade in the shallow end and sit in that water forever.  We must go through it.  There is no way of going around it.  Peppermint, will hold your hands and hold up your heart as you  get into deep water.  It will not let you sink.  You will find you are carried all the way to the other side.  If you refuse to address the problem, it is like going around in a circle in the same spot and eventually facing that same river of pain.  Passing through that ‘river of pain’ is an integral part of your personal journey.  You will find that you are stronger than you think.  When you are on the other side, the joy you feel is far greater than the sorrows you experienced.  You will be grateful for your achievements.

Uplifting the Heart and Mind: Peppermint is an ingredient in the Motivate encouraging blend.

Relief of Impatient or Intolerant Attitude: Mix 3 drops Bergamot, 2 drops Lavender, 1 drop Peppermint.1  Put it in a diffuser and smell it.

Affirmation:  I am safe and accepting

Peppermint reminds you that you are meant to be happy.  It reminds you to allow happiness in your heart.  There are those who think that they need to be martyrs and refuse to allow joy and happiness in their life.  When they vibrate on a low frequency all the time, they suffer from one thing to the next unnecessarily.

Peppermint helps us clear away all the self imposed limitations.  It helps us think clearly and have a renewed hope and strength for life.  Peppermint says, “Lift up your head, hold yourself up high, lift up that heart.  You are strong enough.”
